Wedge-tailed eagles are found all over mainland Australia and into Tasmania. They are the largest flying raptor in Australia and the fourth largest in the world. These birds of prey are powerful, carnivorous hunters!

Reverse: Portrays a wedge-tailed eagle with outstreched wings; additionally, the eagle and the coins rims and serrated edge are gilded in 24 carat gold.

Obverse: portrays the official Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Obverse, featuring the Jody Clark effigy supplemented with the dates of Her Majesty’s reign – ‘1952 – 2022’
