1991 Australian 10g Gold $200 The Pride of Australia Emu Proof Coin in Presentation Box

Queensland Mint is proud to present the 1991 10g Australian Pride of Australia Emu Gold Proof Coin from The Royal Australian Mint.

Minted in Canberra between the years 1978 to 1991, the Pride of Australia gold coin series were produced in proof and uncirculated grades to exhibit Australia’s beloved native animals – the Wombat, Emu, Platypus, Frilled Neck Lizard, Tasmanian Devil, Echidna, and Squirrel Glider Possum. The $200 face value 10g 22-karat (91.67% purity) is highly collectible, with proof coins shipping in padded boxes, and uncirculated versions shipping in cardboard sleeves.

Coin Highlights:

• Contains 0.32 troy ounce or 10 grams of pure 91.67% gold

• Uncirculated Coin 

The obverse depicts Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II along with the mark “AUSTRALIA” and the year “1991”. 

The reverse depicts a standing emu between tall grass along with the coin’s face value.
